The California Central Valley Maltese Club, Inc. ("CCVMC") is an American Kennel Club licensed not for profit club that holds an
annual specialty in the Spring and an annual "B" match in the Summer. Meetings are held bi-monthly on the odd numbered months (1-3-5-7-9-11) within the greater Lodi area at such hour and place as designated by the Board Directors.
The objectives of the club are:
- to encourage and promote the quality breeding of pure-bred Maltese and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
- to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Maltese shall be judged
- to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trials
- to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club
